Obituary of Francis "Frank" A. Vidito

Francis “Frank” A. Vidito, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Frank was born in Winchester, MA, and raised in Reading, MA. He was a resident of North Reading, MA, Jersey City, NJ, and most recently, was a resident of Bound Brook, NJ. He served his country honorably as a Captain in the Army Rangers during the Vietnam War. Frank graduated with an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Frank worked for Bell as a District Manager in Massachusetts. Then, he worked for AT&T also as a District Manager in NY and NJ. Prior to retiring, he worked as an accountant for Somerset County. He enjoyed reading and listening to classical music. He was very generous and helpful to everyone who knew him, and he always made a point to remember people’s names. Family was always most important to him. He is predeceased by his parents, Francis E. Vidito in 1997, and his mother, Alma G. Vidito in 2012. He is also predeceased by his first wife, Peggy in 2010, and his second wife, Theresa in 2020. He is survived by his two children, Jeanne M. Brimat and her husband, Neil, and Christopher A. Vidito. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
