Obituary of Roberto A. Romero
Roberto A. Romero, age 67, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at his home in North Plainfield, NJ. He was born in La Union, El Salvador. He was a previous resident of Jackson Heights, NY, Newark, NJ, and a longtime resident of North Plainfield for the last 20 years.
He was employed with the Cosmopolitan Decorating Co., Inc. in NYC for 20 years as a painter.
Robert loved to exercise and go shopping. He also enjoyed to paint of course, but his greatest pride was spending time with his 7 grandchildren.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Ana G. Romero; his 5 children: Elsie and Tim Mulligan, Nancy Romero and her partner, Luis Flor, Robert and Raquel Romero, Jessica Pratt, and Mark Romero; his 4 siblings: Daisi, Noemy, Maria de la Paz, and Estella; and his 7 grandchildren: Arelis, Isa, Christina, Kylie, Emma, Aiden, and Kaitlyn.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07069. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Cremation services will be private.
