Obituary of Florence S. Alter

Florence S. Alter passed away on February 16, 2021 in Plantation, Florida. She was born in 1923 and lived in the Plainfield area until 2008, when she moved to Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Irving Alter, her brother, Joseph Suffness, and her parents, Nathan and Fannie Suffness, all of whom were Plainfield area residents.

She is survived by her two daughters, Natalie Stern (Charles Lesser) of Hartsdale, NY, and Miriam Alter of Galveston, TX, by her two grandsons, Eric Stern (Elizabeth) and Jeffrey Stern (Sarah), and by four great grandchildren, Sierra, Tori, Hailey and Jonah Stern.
