Mom, I am having a real hard time with Easter this year. I remember all of the things that you did for us as kids - the Easter Egg tree, the ducks Chris and George, the beautiful Easter baskets and everything else you did to enrich my childhood. I was driving down the street this morning and there is something about the weather and the blooming trees that remind me of our Easters together as a child and as an adult. I see the forsithia blooming and I think of the yard where we grew up and remember you saying that it always comes out on Easter, no matter when Easter falls on the calendar. I miss visiting you as an adult at your assisted living apartment and bringing you your favorite bottle of wine and some chocolates and oranges. I always tried to give you what you considered a beautiful day, whether it was Easter, Christmas, your birthday or Mother's Day. You were so appreciative and I couldn't do enough to make you happy. I love you so much, I miss you beyond words and I am hurting this year.

Dear Mom,
It's one year today that you left this earth and joined the angels in Heaven, giving me a new guardian angel. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you and miss you dearly. Beautiful memories of you are forever engraved in my heart. I miss our conversations, but I know that if I talk to you, you are still listening. I love you more and more each passing day and I pray for you in my daily prayers.
Your loving daughter,
Robin

Carl, Robin & Phil:
I was extremely sad to learn of your mother's passing. I have countless wonderful memories of being at the house on Belmont Ave. and shooting the breeze with Ann, Carl and the family. She was a wonderful mother and raised three fantastic children which on its own makes her life an overwhelming success.
She was so much fun to talk to and had a fabulous sense of humor. The only thing that can help the tremendous sadness in learning of her passing is the firm belief that she is at peace with the Lord and in a better place in Heaven!
God Bless Ann and her family. She will be sorely missed!

What a great video of life. Your mom really like showing off those great long legs. Woo hoo, what a gal. Sorry, we all have to go through this in life. But you got the luck. Not everybody had such a great mom to have a great relationship with. Sorry for your pain.

Grandma gave me some of my favorite childhood memories. Just seeing the photos of her old place in ocean gate brought back warm feelings. I’ll never forget sitting there in her giant chair as she treated me as her special little grandson while I would gaze out that big bay window of her’s at all the ducks. She was my birthday buddy and I’ll forever miss hearing her voice on our day.

Mamma Annie could have been 150, and it still would not have been long enough for me. She always had a way of making you feel so special, like you were the most important person in the room. No matter what I was talking about, or how completely boring my stories may have been, she would listen to every single last detail, and then ask questions.
I will forever remember the unwavering love she had for her three children, her amazing sense of humor, her love of singing and dancing to the oldies, and especially her tuff love attitude.
One of my favorite memories was when I would bring her chocolate, before I left she would have me hide them because she said if Robin knew she was eating too much chocolate she would take them away..
I will miss your quick wit and your beautiful smile... Rest in sweet peace Mamma Annie, I love you more... Dana

Annie was a beautiful and talented woman, a wonderful mother, grandmother and the life of the party! I am sure she could have played Auntie Mame on Broadway! Always greated you with a warm smile and engaging conversation. A self made strong woman ahead of her time who lit up every room. Love to Robin, Phil and my close friend Carl. Rest in peace Annie - you made the world a better place.

So sad about this. When I saw Carl's note I immediately started telling Julie, my wife, about Annie and what a great woman she was.
Brave is a word that comes to mind. Her courage was straightforward- she saw the world for what it was and what it could be. I loved how she always made us feel, as kids, like we could do whatever we wanted to do- play music, sports, wear whatever we wanted to wear.
She was born in the 20's (long life!) but got the 60's and was a kind of guide for us as kids through that crazy time.
You were all so lucky to have a mom like Annie and I count myself fortunate to have had her as a neighborhood mom. She loved all of us and we loved her right back. (misting up as I write this)
Be at peace, Carl, Phil, Robin. Stay loose!

Mom,
How you will be missed! Over the past 5 days, I caught myself thinking I should give you a call. Whether it was on my way to church, or to talk about the Super Bowl or when I could come visit you again. The emptiness that followed was a feeling I have never felt before.
Mom, you will be sorely missed by everyone who had the good fortune to know you. You will remain in our thoughts always.
As you always said....."Love you More"! - Carl
