Obituary of Michael Logan Stein
Michael Logan Stein, age 21, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021. He was born in Overlook Hospital in Summit NJ on January 10, 2000 and was raised in Watchung, NJ.
Michael attended Bayberry Elementary School, Valley View Middle School and Watchung Hills Regional High School. He attended Fordham University in the Bronx, NY as part of the Class of 2022.
Michael loved his family and friends more than anything. He also loved soccer, video gaming, music and going for long drives. He had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious smile.
He is preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandmother Hung Nguyen and paternal grandparents Edward and Evelyn Stein.
He is survived by his grandfather Van Nguyen; father Eric Stein; mother Minh Stein; step-father Salvatore Marcoccio; Uncle and Aunt Nhat and Maria Nguyen; Uncle Khoung Nguyen; Uncle Chris Stein; grandparents Salvatore and Mary-Ellen Marcoccio; Uncle and Aunt Paul and Denise Bianco, Uncle and Aunt Charles and Melissa Grimm; cousins Christina, Johnathan, and Katie Nguyen, Max Nguyen, Toni, Nick, and Jessica Bianco, and Charlie Grimm.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s-Stony Hill Roman Catholic Church in Watchung, NJ followed by a Funeral Mass at the same church. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, NJ.
