Obituary of Dong Pun Pak
Dong Pun Pak, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. She was born in South Korea on May 5, 1953, and was a former resident of Dover, NJ, Green Brook, NJ, and most recently Middlesex, NJ.
Dong was the owner of Vogue Dry Cleaners in Plainfield, NJ, for ten years from 1981 to 1991. In the years to follow, she worked as a nail technician. Her most recent role was her favorite as it was caring for and teaching her grandchildren.
She loved many things in this life such as exercising, cooking, going to the beach and the city, and spending time with her friends. However, family was very important to her and she adored spending time with all of them, especially, her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Mun Ung Pak; Her sons: Jung and his wife, Shannon, and Eugene and his fiancée, Celeste Kim; and her two grandchildren: Keri and Declan Pak, as well as her siblings, nieces, and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. A Private Burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ.
