Obituary of Raymond J. Perry
Raymond J. Perry, age 82, passed away on May 7, 2021. He was born in Plainfield, NJ, raised in South Plainfield, and a former resident of Green Brook. Most recently, he was a resident of Bound Brook, NJ, for over four years.
A baker by trade, Raymond worked previously at the Suburban Dessert Shoppe in Millburn, NJ for many years. His more recent place of employment was at the Gaston Avenue Bakery in Somerville, and he also worked as a Crossing Guard for Green Brook Township.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Mount R.C. Church located in Warren, NJ.
Aside from baking, Raymond enjoyed spending time outside gardening.
He is predeceased by his first wife, Lillian Perry in 1974, and his second wife, Roseann Perry in 2007.
He is survived by his three children: Donna Reviello and her husband, Christopher; Raymond C. and his wife, Donna; and David; his two siblings: Vincent and Joan Mazuca; his five grandchildren: Ryan Reviello, Kevin Reviello, Raymond G., James, and Kayla Perry; his two great-grandchildren: Camryn Reviello and Brinley Reviello.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount, Warren, NJ. A Private Cremation will follow. Final Resting Place will be at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains, NJ.
Memorial Donations in Raymond’s name can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
