Obituary of Efrain Pedrero
Efrain Pedrero, age 82, passed away on Friday, May 7th, 2021, at Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, NJ. Efrain was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Efrain loved sports, especially baseball, horse racing, and visiting Atlantic city. In his youth, he was a competitive baseball player and pool shooter. He also enjoyed watching stand-up comedy and had a great sense of humor. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Efrain is survived by his wife, Drema Faye Pedrero; his daughter, Jennifer Netta and her husband Nicholas, his sons, Barry Newton Pedrero, and Tim Pedrero and his wife Melissa. He is further survived by five grandchildren: Nicholas Netta, Matthew Netta, and Brittany Netta; Devin Pedrero, and Kyle Pedrero.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Stony Hill RC Church. Cremation is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ.
