I knew Chris because she helped me significantly with my son as a young kid experiencing challenges at school and home. She recognized his needs and helped me understand his needs, his vulnerabilities and his strengths.
She also counseled me through a terribly difficult pre- and post-divorce period for several years. I can say that she helped me become a better human being, with PTSD and became someone I truly cared for and loved as a human being. She further helped my daughter find words to express herself, and they shared their joint love of animals. Her knowledge of literature, her sense of humour and self were palpable and a gift to anyone with whom she shared her gifts. She was 100% trustworthy.
I will always miss her presence as we became friends. The passing of a friend is always a true and deep loss.
