Obituary of Elmer A. Stonecipher

Elmer A. Stonecipher, age 90, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021. He was born to Arles and Fanny Stonecipher in Berkeley Heights, NJ and raised in North Plainfield, but spent most of his life in Warren.

He worked for many years as a bulldozer operator for Carrar Construction, but most recently worked self-employed as a mechanic in his own shop.

Elmer was a wonderful country western singer and played in many shows throughout New Jersey with his band, the Sun Valley Boys.

He loved woodworking in his spare time, and his favorite creations were bird houses.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Diane Stonecipher; his son: Mark Stonecipher; and his sister: Arlene Baumgartner. He will be greatly missed.
