Obituary of Geraldine Anita Logiudice

Geraldine Anita Logiudice, née Dietz, age 85, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. She was born in 1936 in Jersey City, NJ and was raised in North Arlington, NJ. She was a longtime resident of Bridgewater since 1965.

She graduated in the class of 1956 from St. Michael’s School of Nursing in Newark, NJ, and for many years, Geraldine worked as a Registered Nurse at Somerset Medical Center.

She was a devoted parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville, NJ, and was also a past officer and member of the Rosary Altar Society. Over the years she spent a lot of time as a volunteer at the Pregnancy Aid Center in Raritan.

Geraldine adored spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as all of the family pets. She always enjoyed watching all of her grandkids’ sporting and performance activities.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Albert S. Logiudice; her three children: Albert Logiudice and his wife Robin, Anita Auriemma and her husband Santo, and Mark Logiudice and his wife Mary; and her six beloved grandchildren: Molly, Madeline, Joshua, Jillian, Amanda, and Jessica.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at Blessed Sacrament Church located in Martinsville, NJ. She will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge, NJ.
