Obituary of Eva Wehof
Eva Wehof, aged 97, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at the Parker Home in Piscataway, NJ. She was born and raised in Prague, Czechoslovakia to Victor and Stephie Lieblien. She met and married her husband, Hubert in Vienna, Austria and lived there until immigrating to the United States in the early 1950s. She was a resident of North Plainfield, NJ until 1959 and a long-time resident of Watchung until 2015 before moving to Piscataway six years ago.
She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Summit Systems Inc., a business form distributor based in Branchburg, NJ.
She was a past parishioner of Wilson Memorial Church located in Watchung, NJ.
Eva enjoyed painting on porcelain china, visiting her beloved grandchildren, traveling home to Europe to visit family there, and playing tennis with her girl’s league in Watchung.
Eva is predeceased by her loving husband, Hubert Wehof in 2015 and her beloved son, Mark Wehof in 1976.
She is survived by her son, Walter S. Wehof and his wife, Astrid Wehof; and her three grandchildren: Marcus, Alena, and Jennifer.
A private burial was held at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge, NJ.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Wilson Memorial Church in Watchung, NJ.
