Obituary of Patricia Ann Sukovich
Patricia Ann Sukovich, age 88, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ. Patricia was formerly a resident of Scotch Plains, NJ, from 1966 to 2003, and then she moved to North Wales, PA.
After graduation she worked at Jersey Mortgage in Elizabeth. Patricia was later employed by Bamberger’s department store which then was bought and renamed to Macy’s. She was Head of Personnel during her many years there.
Patricia enjoyed traveling with her family, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Sukovich in 1982.
She is survived by her four children: Dr. William and his wife, Kristen, Sandra Barta, and her husband, Thomas, Judith Longo, and her husband, Marc, and David Sukovich, and his wife, Patricia; her brother, Bernard Hayden; and her 11 grandchildren: Kaitlyn (Brad), William (Gabrielle), Ryan, Patrick, Kevin, Michael, Brian, Christopher (Caroline), Catherine, Lauren, and Danielle.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount Church, 170 Mt Bethel Rd, Warren, NJ 07059. Followed by a 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment to follow at St Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, NJ. Funeral services are under the direction of Higgins Home For Funerals, Watchung, NJ.
Memorial donations can be made in Patricia’s name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
