When we first met, 23 years ago, Michael was younger than I am now, and I still remember him as an energetic and witty person full of questions regarding what we (that is, Sue, our student, and I) were actually doing - and why. And I remember a house full of aunts, uncles, brothers, cousins, friends, and what have you. It certainly was a lively place, as was the vacation home in Vermont. You really got a feeling for what family meant!
The last time I saw him in person was a few years ago when "Gramma & Papi" where visiting Sue, Ant, Elianna & Marissa over the Christmas holidays, and I'm really glad I was there, too.
It's sad we weren't able to meet, again, but, at least, thinking of him will always bring back happy memories, for the rest of my life. Thanks!!!
I know this loss must be so hard for "Gramma" Inez, to whom I sent my sincere condolences, together with the wish that one day happy memories will win over grief.
Thinking of you, Albrecht

We were so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I have so many fond memories of the many family gatherings and Mike grilling on the patio in his backyard, a few of the only times he wasn't wearing a suit!
Our deepest sympathy go out to Inez and her family. God bless.

Mike's beloved wife ,Inez, & I met at Manhattan school of music in 1959 & she & Mike & all the family have always been a part of my life. We shared the same August, 4th anniversary & we spent many years celebrating that date together. To know Mike, was to love Mike. He was a true old fashioned Gentleman in so many ways. He really was a "Gentleman". May he find peace after his long illness.
Our sincere condolences,
Eunice Pivovitsch & her family.

Knowing Michael's daughter Cyndi, I can only imagine what an amazing man he was. She spoke of her dad often with great respect and admiration. May many fond memories lighten the sadness at this difficult time. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Franko Family at this very difficult time! Growing up next door to the Franko's was such a wonderful time in my childhood. Mr. Franko was such a kind and fun loving man. He and my Dad always had a lot of laughs through the years and now they will be joking and laughing together in Heaven-he will be missed! Rest in Peace Mr. Franko! LOVE MIGGS, Paul and Christiopher and the ZILLI FAMILY
