Obituary of Joan Osienko

Joan Marie Osienko, age 80, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Born to Leo and Mary Osienko in Plainfield, NJ, Joan was raised in Scotch Plains, NJ, and resided there her entire life.

She graduated from Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School in 1959.

Joan worked as Deputy Treasurer for the Borough of Somerville for 25 years before retiring.

She enjoyed travelling and especially loved to spend time in Europe, but her favorite place was Highlands, NJ, a gathering location for relatives and friends formany years. Joan also adored spending time with her dog, Pookie.

Joan is survived by her two siblings: Patricia Montaniand her husband, Raymond, and Barbara Luke; fivenieces and nephews: Ryan Montani and his wife, Kerry, Patrick Montani and his wife, AnnMarie, Donna Gustites and her husband, Ray, Mariann Argese, John Luke; and seven great-nephews and nieces: Wesley, Zach,  Gina, Angela, Shawna, Douglas and Dana,
