We have lost a treasured family member. Although myself an old man, I remember her vitality and joy from my youth. I have lost my own parents. A loss from which I have never recovered so I have some understanding of the grief that Pat, her children, and immediate family are suffering. It is our human nature, but impossible to truly grasp why we must endure this. We must have faith that we will all meet again in a better place. Richard Macchia, Fort Lauderdale, FL
