I remember Dr. Kevin attending Beekeeper meetings with his wife Joan over many years. He always had his camera and would be in the thick of what ever was going on taking pictures. They were always smiling

The first time I came to America, Kevin was at the airport. I remember going to Coney Island. My very first New York hot-dog. He took a picture, I still have it.
Most of my first American expériences, I shared them with Kevin. It was the 1990's. I was just a high-school kid from Paris and he was a doctor from New Jersey. Still I think I can say he was my friend. And I learned a lot from him... Including english and taking pictures. I must say he named his iguana after me, and it's quiet a unique thing.
He was a joyfull man. One of the most enthousiastic person I ever met. There was always a new record to listen to, a new restaurant to go to, a new car to try or to buy. However, at times, I found him sad too. One time he told me that humans are born evils. Christmas was important to him. Not just for presents and reunions. He truely beleived that we should cherish eachother, care for eachother during the hollyday season. And then one day he told me "you know, christmas should not exist, it should be christmas everyday" .
Where ever you are now Kevin, I hope it's Christmas everyday.

Dear Kevin, to say that you are a generous person is, as everybody whose life you touched will attest to, an almost laughable understatement because your generosity is an expression of your fondness for humanity in general and for us, your friends and confidants in particular, and it comes with no strings attached, just pure caring. I can say without hubris that I have never met nor do I expect to ever meet a more generous human being than you. I use the present tense because this ability to care and share is so unique that it outlasts your worldly existence and will stay with us in the presence and future. How can I forget the day you showed up unexpectedly in your Ferrari at my son’s First Communion? Your explanation: “It’s a big day for the little guy and I’m here to lend him support.” After the ceremony he got in your car and drove off in style for a nice ride home which included a long detour. I don’t know how many kids can cherish their First Communion with such a fond memory but I happen to know one.
Thank you for guiding us through the pitfalls and perils of greed and ill will with your measured and sagacious leadership as our CEO during the formation of our Millennium Anesthesia Corporation some twenty years ago. Well done, Kevin!
Dinner at Bianca’s in the Bowery, that’s where I want to meet you again. When I see your red Ferrari parked outside I’ll know Kevino is inside waiting for us.
Farewell, my dear friend.
Leander.

Kevin was "the happiest man alive" and always tried to share that feeling with others. I will always be thankful for the opportunity he gave me to be part of Milleniun Anesthesia Consultants and I regret not telling him that before. He had his moments and sometimes his temper, but always smiling and generous. Thanks for your support, friendship, a great colleague, co-worker, and friend. No more OB calls, rest in peace Kevin, you will never be forgotten.

Kevin was the most caring, generous person I have ever had the privilege to know. I worked with him for 35 years at Beth Israel. If you had a problem Kevin made sure he would help solve it no matter how busy he was.
His great, witty sense of humor will be missed.
Condolences to Joan and your family on this terrible loss.
