Obituary of Marion Petras

Marion Petras, age 100, passed away peacefully on Friday October 1, 2021, at the Chelsea Assisted Living in Warren, NJ. Born and raised in Newark, Marion has resided in Warren since 1956.

Marion was a former member of Our Lady of the Mount RC Church in Warren. In her early years she enjoyed roller skating, bowling, and golf. Marion was also an excellent seamstress, but most of all she loved spending her time with her family and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband Michael Petras, her son James Petras, and her son-in-law John Beisler, IV.

Marion is survived by her loving daughters Theresa Petras and Deborah Beisler and two grandchildren John and Evan Beisler.

A mass of the resurrection will be held on Tuesday October 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Mount RC Church, 170 Mt. Bethel Rd., Warren,NJ 07059, followed immediately by the entombment at St. Mary’s Stony Hill Cemetery in Watchung.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her loving memory to the St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
