Obituary of Suzanne J. Krog

Suzanne J. Krog, age 77, passed away at her home at Tallwoods Care Center in Bayville, NJ.  Suzanne was born in Plainfield, was raised and was long time resident of North Plainfield before moving to Brick in 2002.

She was an avid reader who always enjoyed the beach and traveling.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Suzanne is predeceased by her loving husband Carl Krog in 1985.

Suzanne spent her life with celebrations and adventure always in her view. She loved the holidays and always decorated for the seasons. Suzanne was a great cook, and her food was memorable. She was a baker that was hard to top.  Thanksgiving dinners were always her start to the holiday season and you could count on a great meal with friends and family. Christmas was her favorite holiday that always started with the traditional brunch which she started when her grandchildren were born. The annual tasks she enjoyed so much was setting up her Christmas village , decorating the tree with her cherished gold filigree ornaments, and baking all her favorite cookies that had no bakery could beat.

Suzanne is survived by her daughters, Sharon Litchman and her husband Michael, and Shelley Stroke; her grandchildren, Kristen Gonzalez, Michael Litchman and his wife Michele, and Matthew Litchman and his wife Desiree; her great-grandchildren, Karmin, Aiden, Landon, Payton, Hazel, Teagan, and Mia; and her brother, Peter Carone and his wife Dorothy.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 11:00 am at Hillside Cemetery, 1401 Woodland Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076.  Cremation was private.
