I worked for Ron at the Warren Shell station while attending high school in the 70s. I left Ron and joined the military. Upon my return, I became a Watchung Police officer helped Ron to get everything together to work with the municipality to tow. I was unaware of his passing until tonight. Ron will be missed.

As a Warren Twp. police officer, and later as Chief of Police, I knew Ron from Bardy Farms Shell and the help he provided towing for us through the years. A good guy who did a great service for us on so many occasions. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. The family has provided a wonderful tribute to him in this beautiful tribute.

Condolences to the Mislan family. He was a gr8 tow truck driver - listened to your story and was compassionate. He even got me in the middle of a snow storm ! I had a big Lincoln town car at that time -- and he towed it to his shop -- then drove me home. Great man. Sincerely, Anita and Ed Anderson

Bought my first 1955 Chevy from Ron back in 1969. Just recently connected with him again on Facebook. We talked about old times and shared interest in cars we both owned. Sorry to hear about losing another car guy from the past and sorry to hear he has passed. He was a great guy who knew his cars. Super mechanic!

My sincere condolences to his children. I knew Ron for over 48 yrs. He was my friend and sometimes co-worker. I was honored and privileged to have been his friend. Ron was an honest and giving man, and what he could do with a flatbed most people couldn't do with a wrecker. I will miss him very much. I know that he is finally at peace and with his family and friends in heaven, I'm sure that he's probably helping God move things around. Rest in peace my friend/brother, I'll see you on the other side!! With love and prayers for you, Ed "doc" Anderson
