Obituary of Roger M. Carroll

Roger Carroll, 100, of Basking Ridge passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 at his home. Mr. Carroll was born in Whippany, NJ resided in North Plainfield for 25 years before moving to Basking Ridge in 1996. Prior to retiring Mr. Carroll worked as an engineer and land surveyor for 50 years. He was a member of many different Model A Ford Clubs. He was also a member of both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. He is predeceased by his first wife Margaret M. Carroll and his second wife Elvira Carroll Pollack. Surviving are his two daughters; Adele C. Butler and Janet Baker; five grandchildren Kevin J., Michael, Kimberly, Jill and Katie. A visitation will be held on Monday June 16th 2014 from 4-8 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by the interment at Restland Cemetery in East Hanover NJ.
