Obituary of Josephine J. Caporaso

Josephine J. Caporaso, age 80, died on Friday, June 13, 2014 at her home in Martinsville. She was born in Newark and had lived in Irvington before moving to Martinsville in 1959. Mrs. Caporosa was a homemaker. She was a Communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. Mrs. Caporaso was talented self taught artist who enjoyed crafting. Surviving are husband of 58 years, Frank Caporaso; her son, Felix Caporaso and his wife, Barbara of Bridgewater; her daughter, Ann Skiba of Bound Brook; her sisters, Eleanoe Saluccio and her husband, Joseph of Colonia and Rose Granato of Port St. Lucie and her grandchildren, Matt Caporaso and Hunter Caporosa. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, June 17th at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, Martinsville. Entombment will be at St. Mary's Stony Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, June 16th from 5 to 8 p.m.
