Obituary of Thomas A. McKeon
Thomas A. McKeon, age 88, passed away on December 28, 2021, at his home in Warren. Born and raised in Kearny, NJ, Thomas has resided in Warren for over 60 years. He has also spent his weekends and summers at the family home in Monterey Beach.
Thomas proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Prior to his retirement in 1994, Thomas worked in the quality assurance department for Anheuser Busch Company in Newark as a supervisor for over forty years.
Thomas was a member of Our Lady of the Mount RC Church in Warren, NJ.
He enjoyed taking long walks on the Lavallette boardwalk and crabbing on his boat at the Jersey Shore, but most of all he loved spending time watching his six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Joan McKeon, and his three children, Thomas McKeon and his wife Carolyn, John McKeon, and Joanne Musto and her husband Anthony.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 5th 2021, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Our Lady of the Mount R.C. Chapel, 167 Mt. Bethel Rd., Warren, NJ, followed by a mass of the resurrection at 1:30 p.m. The burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge, NJ.
