Obituary of Gary Molyneux

Gary Sydney Molyneux, age 92, passed away on Sunday January 2, 2022. He was born in Newark NJ, grew up in Rahway, and graduated from Rahway High School in 1947. He has lived in Watchung since 1954.

Gary worked at the family business, SM Electric Company, in Rahway, until his retirement. He also served in the National Guard for 10 years. 

He was a long time member of the Wilson Memorial Union Church in Watchung and loved to sing as a member of their choir. Gary loved spending time with family and friends at the beach in Sea Bright and taking his boat out fishing. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Lodge No.135 F&AM. He was also an avid skier for many years and loved gardening with his wife.

He is predeceased by his son Gregory in 2018, his wife of 69 years Norine in 2020, and his parents Sydney and Eunice Molyneux. He is survived by his daughter Suzanne Molyneux and her husband Joseph Borowski and four grandchildren Alan, Jennifer, Bryan and his wife Emily, and Gregory.

A private family service will be held at Wilson Memorial Union Church in the Memorial Garden at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wilson Memorial Union Church, 7 Valley Road, Watchung, NJ 07069
