Obituary of Manjula Chudasama
Manjula Chudasama passed away peacefully on Friday morning, February 11, 2022. She was born on August 20, 1946, in Mombasa, Kenya, East Africa, and moved to London, England during her teen years. She eventually became a clinical nurse working at Northwick Park Hospital in Kingsbury, where she also met her future husband, Lalji. After marrying in July 1973, they moved to the United States. From 1973 to 1978, they lived in Brooklyn, NY, where their two daughters, Sheila and Sonia were born. In 1978, they moved to Edison, NJ, and lived there until 1980 when they moved to Westfield, NJ. During that time, their son, Neelesh was born. In 1991, they moved to Watchung, NJ, and have been there since.
Manjula had a feisty personality, always amusing everyone with her British expressions. She loved getting her hair styled every Friday without fail and is fondly remembered by many for her love of bright-colored lipstick and perfume. She will be greatly missed.
Manjula is survived by her ever-loving husband, Lalji; daughters Sheila Sapra and Sonia Patel; son Neelesh; sons-in-law Gopi Sapra and Amish Patel; daughter-in-law Shannon Watkins; grandsons Karan, Niam, Rhiaan, and Theodore; and granddaughters, Nikita and Diya.
Funeral and cremation services will be held at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, 95 Mt Airy Road, Basking Ridge, NJ, 07920, on Tuesday morning, February 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.
