Obituary of Deborah Booker

Deborah Booker, age 64, passed away peacefully, February 11th, 2022 at the JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Richmond Virginia, Deborah grew up in Piscataway New Jersey and has resided Plainfield her entire adult life.

Prior to her retirement Deborah worked for many years as a nurse’s aide at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield.

Deborah was an active and dedicated member of the Ruth Fellowship Ministries Church in Plainfield where she served in the nurse’s ministry. She had a fondness for traveling, she especially loved taking cruises. Deborah was the Chaplin of her motorcycle club the “Unique Divas”. She loved spending time with her family and will be missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Sarah (Gregory) Booker, and all her siblings.

Deborah is survived by her daughter Shaconda Gethers, two grandchildren Knazya and Kweli Johnson, a great grandson Khadri Harris. She is also survived by her significant other Barry Kelly. She is also survived a host of extended family and loving friends.
