Obituary of Robert D Hendricks

Robert D. Hendricks, age 69, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold. Robert was born in Huntington Township, PA, lived in Spotswood for over 25 years and for the past 10 years has resided in Otego, NY. Mr. Hendricks served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed horses and farming but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, JoAnn in 2006. Surviving are his son, Brian D. Hendricks; his brother, Roger Hendricks of Plainfield; his sister's, Sarah Yustat and Patsy Sult; his grandchildren, Kayla J., Dean A., Aidan J., Gideon D. and Jolene A. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 1st at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
