Obituary of Emperatriz Blas de Rodriguez
Emperatriz Blas de Rodriguez, age 65, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022, surrounded by her family. Born in Trujillo, Peru, Emperatriz moved to the United States in 1992, where she settled in Plainfield for several years before moving to North Plainfield in 1995.
Emperatriz was a faithful servant of God. She served with all her heart as a church leader and counselor. As a missionary, evangelist, and teacher of the word of God, she helped plant churches in the USA, Central, and South America. She was used by God and guided many to their salvation.
Emperatriz was a dress shop owner and dress designer, having owned several bridal shops throughout Somerset County, NJ, and Lima, Peru.
Emperatriz was a wonderful cook and enjoyed hosting her family and friends for large home-cooked holiday meals. She enjoyed crafting and of course, she excelled at sewing. But most of all, she loved raising her six children and being a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Celin Rodriguez; six children: Daniel Fenco, and his wife Jerusha, Suhey Zetino, and her husband, David, Evelyn Blas, Isai, Genesis, and Nuvia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Kayla, Michael, Melody, Sophia, Matthew, Shelby, Joshua, and Oliver.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ.
A second visitation will also be held on Saturday, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at The Flemington Assembly of God Church, 434 US-202, Flemington, NJ 08822. A service will follow beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Emperatriz Blas de Rodríguez, de 65 años, falleció el Lunes 25 de Abril de 2022 rodeada de su familia. Nacida en Trujillo, Perú, Emperatriz se mudó a los Estados Unidos en 1992, donde se residio en Plainfield durante varios años antes de mudarse a North Plainfield en 1995.
Emperatriz fue una fiel sierva de Dios. Ella sirvió con todo sucorazón como líder y consejera de su iglesia. Como misionera, evangelista y maestra de la palabra de Dios, ayudó a plantar iglesias en EE. UU., Centro y Sudamérica. Ella fue usada por Dios y guió a muchos a su salvación.
Emperatriz era propietaria de una tienda de vestidos y diseñadora de ropa, y había sido empresaria de varias tiendas de novias en todo el condado de Somerset, NJ y Lima, Peru.
Emperatriz era una cocinera maravillosa y disfrutaba recibir a sufamilia y amigos para grandes comidas navideñas. Le gustaba hacer manualidades y, por supuesto, se destacaba en la costura. Pero, sobre todo, le encantaba criar a sus seis hijos y ser ama de casa.
Le sobreviven su esposo por 25 años, Celin Rodriguez; seis hijos: Daniel Fenco y su esposa Jerusha, Suhey Zetino y su esposo David, Evelyn Blas, Isai, Génesis, y Nuvia Abigail. También le sobreviven ocho nietos: Kayla, Michael, Melody, Sophia, Matthew, Shelby, Joshua, y Oliver.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el Viernes, 29 de Abril de 2022, de 6:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ.
Una segunda visita se realizará el Sábado, 30 de Abril de 2022, de 4:00 a 6:00 p.m., en The Flemington Assembly of God Church, 434 US-202, Flemington, NJ 08822. Un servicio seguirá a partir de las 6:00 p.m.
