Obituary of Virginia Suriano-Sanzone
Virginia Suriano-Sanzone, known by her loved ones as “Jeanne” and “GiGi”, passed away on May 28th. Jeanne was truly loved by all. She was everyone’s favorite sister, aunt, and cousin. She was the best mother and grandmother anyone could ask for and was considered a second mom and GiGi to many.
Jeanne had a love for life, especially the little things. Whether it be a funky seashell or piece of sea glass or a heart-shaped rock, she picked it up and cherished it. Jeanne had a love for her garden and her beautiful flower beds. She had the best outfits, more shoes than any person would ever need, amazing jewelry, and always smelled like patchouli. She was a lover of all animals, whether it be her own pets (Blue, Buddy, Bob, Freddy, and Ditzy), the extra cats she took in, or the birds she fed on a regular basis.
Jeanne is survived by her husband, Vincent Sanzone, her children, Jessica Morales and her husband Alex Morales, Jillian Adriaanse and her husband Tyler Adriaanse, Jonathan Suriano and his better half Kelly Mobus, and her two grandchildren, Jake Peterson and Matilanne Morales. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Tony Suriano, Frank & Kathy Suriano, Carmela & Paolo Scarpone, Maria and Joseph Lanza, John & Robin Suriano, and Lucia and John McHugh. In addition, Jeanne was loved by her many nieces and nephews, and her family thanks Mason McHugh for providing love, support, and care for her when she needed it most.
A service will be held on Saturday, June 4th, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, New Jersey.
