Obituary of Marc A. Schwartz

Marc A. Schwartz, age 65, passed away on July 16, 2022.  Marc was raised in Maplewood, NJ, lived in Dallas, TX, and Kansas City, MO, before returning to New Jersey, and had been a resident of Branchburg for the last 18 years.  Marc attended Columbia High School and then graduated from Cornell University in 1979.  He began his career in the hospitality sector, working for JW Marriott, first managing hotels and then transitioning into real estate site locations for hotels and restaurants.  In later years, Marc was a licensed real estate broker, specializing in commercial properties and founded Marc Realty Investments 30 years ago.

Marc enjoyed many interests including golf, hiking, skiing, kayaking, ballroom and Latin dancing, home improvement projects and always enjoyed spending time in Vermont as well as the Jersey shore.

Marc is predeceased by his father, Bert Schwartz.  He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years of marriage, Jean (Luciano) Schwartz, and his mother, Maidie Schwartz, brothers, Elliot Schwartz, Steven Schwartz, Richard Schwartz and his nephew Drew Schwartz, as well as a large, loving, extended family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 22nd, 2022, from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals in Watchung, NJ.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Somerset Hills Memorial Park and Chapel Mausoleum in Basking Ridge, NJ.  The Schwartz family invites all friends and family to attend any of these services as you are able.
