Obituary of Maureen Hopper

Maureen Hopper, age47, died on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. She was born in Passaic and had lived in Clifton and Verona before moving to Bridgewater in 1998. Maureen enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her favorite shows, "Parks & Recreation", "Modern Family" and "The Office' with them. Maureen also loved to read and enjoyed family vacations in South Carolina. Mrs. Hopper is predeceased by her father, Edward L. Wilson and her brother, Tom Wilson. Surviving are her husband, Robert J. Hopper; her children, Amy Hopper, Tom Hopper, Colleen Hopper and Maggie Hopper, all of Bridgewater; her mother Mary Wilson of Clifton; her brother, Fred Wilson of Clifton; her sisters, Kathie George of Franklin, Judi DeSantis of Lanoka Harbor and Mary Jo McGrady and her husband Michael of Bridgewater, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will begin on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 9:30 am at Higgins Homes for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Mass at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church in Bridgewater. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9.
