Obituary of Joanne E. Maines

Joanne E. (Gilbert) Maines, age 77, died on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at her home in North Plainfield. Born and raised in Newark, she had live in North Plainfield for fifty-three years. Prior to retiring Joanne was a Teaching Assistant with the Center School in Branchburg for thirty years. She was a member of the North Plainfield Senior Citizens and enjoyed sewing in her spare time. Joanne loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Donald Maines in 2008. Surviving are her sons Richard and Donald Maines and her daughter Judy Miller; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 12:00 noon.
