I'm extremely saddened to hear of her passing. I met Elinor in 2009, at NSF, as she approached me, asking, are you Filipino? From that day on we had a connection as sisters and kindred spirit. We would always speak in our native language as we would catch up on our day, or our weekends. She was always warm and loving in our interactions, and we shared a few breakfast moments, comparing our favorite Filipino dishes, etc. I will truly miss her! My deepest condolences to her family. I pray for peace and comfort to her family in the coming days and weeks.
