Obituary of Kam Sang Tsang

Kam Sang Tsang of New Jersey passed away peacefully on November 4, 2022, surrounded by family at home.

Kam Sang was born in 1941 in Guangdong Province, Southern China. He emigrated his family from Hong Kong to the United States in 1976 and made New Jersey their home. Kam Sang lovingly supported his family and was the owner of the Kam Ying House restaurant in Scotch Plains in the 90’s. Kam Sang enjoyed traveling around the world visiting family and friends and settled in later years to enjoy tending his Chinese vegetable garden at home.

Kam Sang is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Koon Ying Tsang; four children, Chun Mon, Chun Ming, Chun Leung, Pikkwan, and four grandchildren; Liam, Shanon, Johnnie, and Jaden.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A funeral service will be held commencing at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Hazel Wood Cemetery, 64 Lake Avenue, Colonia, NJ.
