I have many fond memories of knowing and working for and with Dick. He interviewed me for employment at National Starch in 1954, and he was my first supervisor. He was a great teacher and inspiration and one of the main reasons why I worked at NSC for 38 years. It was truly a pleasure to have known Dick.
My condolences to the family.
