Obituary of Angelo M. Nigro, Jr.

Angelo M. Nigro, Jr. age 73, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022, at his home.  Born and raised in Plainfield, he had been a longtime resident of South Plainfield.

Prior to retiring, he worked for Sprint as a Warehouse Manager in Dayton, NJ.  Angelo was a communicant of The Church of the Sacred Heart in South Plainfield for many years. 

In his spare time, he enjoyed taking trips to the Casino and watching the NY Yankees. 

His greatest joy in life was spending time with family, telling stories, and joking with all, he will be missed.

He was predeceased by his wife, Linda Nigro, his son, Chuck Fuentes, and his daughter, Marie Fuentes.

He is survived by his sons, Tony Fuentes and Joe Fuentes; grandchild, Justin; sister, Theresa Swank; nieces, Robyn and Samantha, and grand-nephews, Michael and Elijah.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 4-8 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung.  Funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Church of the Sacred Heart, South Plainfield. 

Cremation will be held privately.
