Obituary of Jennifer Nicolle Rios
Jennifer Nicolle Rios, age 28, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Jennifer was born and raised in Honduras and has resided in North Plainfield, NJ, since 2009.
After graduating from North Plainfield High School, Jennifer continued her education at Raritan Valley Community College, earning her associate degree. She furthered her education at Hackensack Meridian Health Nursing School.
She worked as a cashier at the Restaurant Depot in Union, NJ, and was a medical assistant at Dr. Gutierez’s Chiropractic Office in Plainfield, NJ, and Summit Heath in New Providence, NJ.
Jennifer loved to play volleyball, swim, dance, and travel, but most of all, she loved to spend time with family and friends.
She is predeceased by her grandmother, Olga Marina Rios in 2011, her Uncle Marvin Montoya in 2017, and her grandfather, Efrain Montoya in 2020.
Jennifer is survived by her daughter, Bella Nicoll Lopez, her parents, Dasmy and Marcos Castro, her loving companion, Luis Lopez, her siblings, Damaris Ariana Rios Montoya, Dasmy M. Rios Montoya, Aristides Sinoe Rios Montoya, and Miguel Angel Cruz Lara.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07069. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Cremation is private.
