Obituary of Wendy Lucy Webster

Wendy Lucy Webster, age 62, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown. Born in Elizabeth, Wendy had resided in Irvington until she was twelve before moving to Hillside, where she spent the rest of her life.

Wendy received her bachelor’s degree in education from Kean University in Union in 2006.

Wendy began her career at Martindale Hubble, working as the senior editor for 25 years. She later found her true passion in teaching. She taught sixth and seventh grade Science for the Plainfield Public School system for 17 years. Her children meant the world to her.

She was an active member of the Renaissance Church in Springfield. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, going to garage sales, and traveling. She loved to dance, spend time in the outdoors, and meet new people, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her sister Lucy Webster; two brothers, Jeffrey Heiss, and Richard Webster: five nieces
and nephews Sydney, Victoria, Jonathan, Jeremy, and Emilie.

A public memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Notre Dame of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 75 Ridgedale Avenue, Cedar Knolls, NJ. Cremation services were held privately.
