Obituary of Theresa A. Falconeri

Theresa A. Falconeri, née Vitelli, age 92, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at McAuley Hall Health Care Center in Watchung, NJ. She was born in Plainfield, NJ, and was a lifelong resident of North Plainfield.

She was a long-time communicant of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in North Plainfield, NJ.

Theresa’s greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her biggest joy. Her eyes would light up even at the mention of their names. She enjoyed life to the fullest, always dressed to the nines, and carried it well. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. She loved cooking and would make food for everyone. It was either coming to her home to eat or she would be delivering it to you. She had a heart of gold, and would do anything for anyone.

She is predeceased by her loving daughter, Patricia Gaub, in 2012, and her son-in-law, John O’Donohue in 2019.

Theresa is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra O’Donohue; her five grandchildren: John M. O’Donohue, Jr., Kelly Catanese and her husband, Mark, E.J. Gaub, Keith Gaub and his wife Noel, and Shannon Gaub; she is also further survived by nine great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in North Plainfield, NJ. Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Theresa’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
