Obituary of Marlene Zuarino
Marlene Zuarino, age 82, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at her home in Warren. Born in Erlangen, Germany, Marlene moved to the United States in 1965 and resided in Warren for over 50 years.
Marlene was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary volunteer fire department in Warren. She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers around her home. Marlene was also known for her love of animals, especially her cat Spots, who gave her so much love. Spots have joined Marlene’s daughter.
She is survived by her daughter Marla Zuarino of Clifton Park, NY, her ex-husband Bernardo Zuarino, and her cousin George Ruff.
Memorial donations may be made in her loving memory to a local animal shelter.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 21st, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ.
Cremation services were held privately.
