Obituary of Lena Dispenziere

Lena (Russo) Dispenziere, age 89, died on Thursday, August 21, 2014. She was born and raised in Newark. Lena spent most of her years between South Orange and Clark. Predeceased by her husband Ben Dispenziere in 1998. Surviving are her sons Michael Dispenziere and his wife Christine; Ben Dispenziere and his wife Margaret; her daughter Linda Schoener and her husband Bob; her brother Joseph Russo; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church, Watchung. Entombment will follow at St. Teresa's Cemetery in Summit. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-3 & 6-8 p.m.
