Obituary of Monica Margaret Miller

Monica Margaret (Whitehead) Miller, age 82, entered into eternal peace on Friday, August 22, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. Born and raised in Newark, she had resided in Warren for over fifty years. Prior to retiring in 1989, Monica worked as a File Assistant for NY Life Insurance Company in Clinton, NJ. Monica was an active member at All Saints Episcopal Church in Millington, where she was a member of the Altar Guild. She had a great love for animals and especially enjoyed every minute she spent with her family. Predeceased by her husband William F. Miller in 2001, and six of her siblings. Surviving are her daughters Linda Jurasik and her husband Bronik; Deborah J. Miller and very close family friend Barbara Dungan; her sister Thelma VanBuren; grandchildren Lisa Dockerty and her husband Tim, Kristen Jurasik and Bronik Jurasik, Jr.; sister-in-law Beryl Porter; several nieces and nephews. Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, Founders Affiliate, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005. Services will begin on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, Millington, NJ. Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
