Obituary of Helen B. Stroz

Helen B. Stroz, 94, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023, at the Fellowship Village Senior Living Facility in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. She was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and lived in Watchung for 45 years before moving to Basking Ridge over a decade ago.

Helen was a beloved wife, aunt, and friend to many. She began working as a secretary for Pacquin Leeming in New York City and reached corporate levels before her retirement. Her late husband, Stanley, passed away in 2014, and she missed him dearly.

Helen was known for her kind, fun-loving, generous nature, and her willingness to help others. She was a devoted Catholic and was an active member of St. Mary's Stony Hill RC Church in Watchung.

Helen is survived by her niece Cecelia Zuckerman, and other family members and friends who loved her dearly. She will be deeply missed.

A memorial mass for Helen will be held at St. Mary's Stony Hill RC Church in Watchung at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023. Her cremated remains will be buried privately at St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia, New Jersey.
