Jorge served in the Air Force of El Salvador as a Paratrooper instructor and had a successful career in the military. He was known for his passion for writing poetry, and his love for gardening was evident in the beautiful flowers and plants that he grew.
Jorge immigrated to Newark, NJ, in 1989, and later moved to West New York, NJ, where he resided until 1997 when he moved to Ridgefield Park, NJ. Throughout his life, he enjoyed playing and watching soccer and was a big fan of his favorite team, C.D. Aguila, an El Salvadorian soccer team. He also loved spending time at Surf City in El Salvador, where he could relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches.
Jorge was a health-conscious person who believed in eating right and exercising regularly. In his younger days, he played professional soccer, which contributed to his love for fitness and sports. But, above all, his greatest joy was spending time with his wife, Transito Quiroz, his three children, Liliana Quiroz and her husband Miguel, Jorge Quiroz and his fiancée Laura Walteros, and Elmer Quiroz and his wife Sarah Quiroz, and his five grandchildren Alexander, Michelle, Dahlia, Ian, and Tegan.
Jorge will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for his family.
