Obituary of Beverly Ann Norris
Beverly A. Norris, age 89, died on Monday, June 5, 2023, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Somerville, NJ, to Emma Irene and Stanley Born, Mrs. Norris resided in Warren, NJ, for the past 65 years.
Mrs. Norris was a graduate of Somerville High School and attended Drake Business College. Mrs. Norris was an administrative assistant at Lyons VA Medical Center for over 20 years in the Medical Records and Engineering Departments.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Thomas W. Norris, on June 26, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Thomas K. of Branchburg, NJ; her two daughters: Diane Ragard of Martinsville, NJ, and Leslie Adams and her husband, Steven of Orefield, PA; her four grandchildren: Paul and Denise Ragard, and her husband, Laurence Smith, James, and Emma Adams.
She is also survived by her two sisters, Lois Pilla and her husband Nicholas of Bridgewater, NJ, and Corinne Smith and her husband Richard of Hillsborough, NJ.
Mrs. Norris kept busy with her immediate and extended family and her passion for cooking, baking, and gardening.
Donations in Mrs. Norris's memory, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Warren Township Rescue Squad.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung, NJ. A service will follow at the funeral home commencing at 10:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Fairmount Rural Cemetery in Fairmount, NJ.
