Obituary of Naomi M. Sadlon
With profound sorrow, we announce the untimely passing of Naomi M. Sadlon, aged 28, on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at her residence in Mine Hill, NJ. Naomi spent her formative years in Green Brook and Warren, before making Mine Hill her home in 2020.
A proud alumna of Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School in Bridgewater, Naomi further expanded her horizons at Raritan Valley Community College and Drew University. An ardent enthusiast of fine cuisine, she delighted guests with her service at Uproot Restaurant in Warren for more than five years.
Nature had a special place in Naomi's heart. Be it hiking, camping with her family, or gardening, the serenity of the great outdoors was her sanctuary. She held a deep fondness for animals and found great joy in the company of her beloved puppies, Jayda and "Doodle Bob" Jasmin. A lover of melodies, Naomi's soulful singing echoed her inner spirit.
Driven by curiosity, Naomi's thirst for knowledge was insatiable. She delved into diverse topics with keen interest, believing in the importance of being prepared. Her intellect and vivacious spirit will be sorely missed.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Andrew Holz, her parents, Randy and Susie Sadlon, cherished grandmothers Peggy Sadlon and Judy Wisniewski; caring aunts Margie, Lisa, Sandy, and Shelley; her uncle Steve; and a host of loving cousins, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss her.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Naomi's vibrant life will take place on Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 2 to 4 PM at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A memorial service will follow, commencing at 4 PM, at the funeral home.
In a fitting tribute to Naomi's profound love of nature, the family kindly requests live flower arrangements, excluding lilies, as an expression of condolences.
Let us gather to remember Naomi, cherishing the wonderful memories she gifted us, and celebrate her lasting legacy in our hearts.
