I tried twice to send a message , i knew Mr. Van Winkle , he was a great guy , a kind man . I graduated hs with Tom , he was a good friend and we loved talking about cars . The last times i spoke with Mr. Van Winkle I saw him at Guido's Luncheonette . i remember Mrs . Van Winkle too , she was a very nice person . My condolences to the Van Winkle family at this difficult time . May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding be with you now . Please tell Tom I said hello , Sincerely , Roger Allen .
