Obituary of Steven A. Killian

Seaside Park: Steven A. Killian, age 70, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at St. Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick. He was born in York, PA and spent his adult years in the Peterstown section of Elizabeth before moving to Somerset County. Mr. Killian was the owner of Staff Investigations, Inc. of NJ, FL and CA for almost 40 years. He was an avid tennis player and skier. He loved spending time with family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Delbert and Mary Killian of Elizabeth, NJ. Mr. Killian is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Barbara Gallaso Killian; his daughter, Lynn Cianfrocca and her husband, Kevin ; his honorary daughter, Donna Hands and her husband, Mark; his grandchildren, Jessica, Tim and Kaitlin; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Terry and Larry Mistichelli and his loving nieces, nephews, family and lifelong friends. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of NJ, 400 Broadacres Drive Bloomfield, NJ 07003.
