Obituary of Marguerite Thompson

Marguerite Thompson, of Warren, NJ, age 96, passed away peacefully at her residence. Originally from Tarentum, PA, Marguerite grew up there before making New Kensington her home for the majority of her life. She relocated to Warren twelve years ago to be nearer to her family.

A devout Catholic, Marguerite was a regular and devoted member of St. Joseph’s RC Church in New Kensington, PA. Her commitment to her faith was evident not only in her regular attendance at mass but also in her tireless volunteering. Beyond her spiritual life, Marguerite was renowned for her culinary talents, especially her baking. Her greatest joy, however, came from the cherished moments spent with her family.

She was welcomed into heaven by her beloved husband, Henry Albert Thompson, Jr., who preceded her in death in 2015.

Marguerite’s legacy lives on through her three sons: Gregory Thompson (Frances), Jeffrey Thompson (Anna), and Christopher Thompson (Thalia), and her two grandchildren, Jarrod and Hayley.

The friends of the Thompson family are invited to attend the memorial services of Marguerite to be held at Our Lady of the Mount Church at 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 30th, 2023.
