Obituary of Ann Machin Oliva
Ann died on October 10, 2023. Friends and family are invited to attend a gathering at Higgins Home for Funerals in Watchung, NJ, on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Ann was a 48-year employee of Overlook Hospital starting as a registered nurse in 1969 after graduating from Holy Name Hospital School of Nursing in Teaneck, NJ and retiring as executive vice president of the Overlook Foundation.
Ann’s family includes her husband, Ken (they were the class couple of the Jonathan Dayton High School Class of 1965), son Kenneth (of whom she was very proud), his wonderful wife Teresa, four sisters: Jane DiGian, Clara Riccuito, Nancy Williams, Gloria Smith, and her twin brother Joseph Machin.
Ann was known for being very succinct. She wrote this obituary and sends her love to all who loved her.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07059.
